Quick Connect Disconnect Device
The second generation Quick Connect Disconnect (QCD) Device has a number of substantial improvements. It does use the same idea of a pneumatically actuated piston for engaging and disengaging the locking mechanism. However, improvements include a better locking mechanism, a fail-safe and easy disconnect operation in case the O-rings fail etc.
